Required eText: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Procedures for Kids with Autism or Other Neuropsychological Disorders

Optional eText: Little Bubba's Not Ready for Nashville Yet: Case Histories of Children with Autism or Other Neuropsychological Disorders

Course Objectives:
This online course is the same 10-hour course I have been teaching offline as a workshop for many years. Countless parents, teachers, and other caregivers have attended my workshop and report that for the first time they are able to manage behavioral problems in their children. At the completion of this workshop you will be able to:
1. Complete a behavior assessment of common behavioral problems in children with autism or other neuropsychological disorders. This includes defining the behavioral problem in behavioral terms, taking a baseline, noting antecedent conditions, which cause the behavior, and the consequences, which maintain the behavior.
2. Decide on a behavior intervention to eliminate inappropriate behavior in your child or establish appropriate behavior in your child and implement this intervention.
3. Maintain the behavior changes and make them permanent.

The course will include brief reading assignments, outlines defining the procedures used in ABA, and examples of behavioral problems commonly found in children with autism or other neuropsychological disorders, and the solution to these problems. Students in the online course will be guided in the application of ABA interventions to the behavioral problems in the kids they care for so taking the course will be like having your own personal online ABA trainer. There will also be email discussions with Dr. Brown where students can ask questions about ABA.

To register for this course: Please Download the Required eText BELOW, and this automatically registers you.  The sixty-page ABA course will then be emailed to you. During the self-paced course, you can email the assignments and quizzes back to Dr. Brown for feedback and he will answer your questions about ABA applications with your child. (Please be sure that you have a valid email address.) The cost of this course is $59.95 + $19.95 for the ABA eText (less than the cost of a single office visit.)
